Carol Sabbadini is a Colombo-Italian visual Artist, specialized in History of Art, Visual Arts from the University of Bologna (Italy) and in management of audiovisual heritage. MA in the Language of Contemporary Image (photography, video art and interdisciplinary practices), from Fondazione Fotografia (Italy).

Director of the CENDOC, the National Audiovisual Documentary Center of the Latin American Association of Documentalists, Alados Colombia, and coordinator of the design and implementation of the Collection Management policy at Señal Memoria, the audiovisual and sound archive of the public broadcast network in Colombia.  During the last years she was adviser for the Bogota’s New Cinematheque.

Winner of awards, recognitions and residences in Italy, Usa, Colombia, Turkey and Romania. Her works, videos and experimental short films have been exhibited in South America, USA and Europe in galleries, museums and festivals such as South London Gallery, Fotografia Europea, ArteinContemporanea Festival, Cremona Contemporary Art Research Center, and Spatiul Platforma of the National Contemporary Art Museum of Bucharest, among others.
